Composed of basalt, Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach was formed by lava flows emanating from the Blue Mountains and Columbia basin about 15-16 million years ago. Today, it is one of the most photographed icons up and down the Oregon coastline. Finally decided to get in on that action, but with a twist, literally. Photos on aluminum and originally exhibited at the Cannon Beach Gallery in 2019.
